1 cup broccoli, or green beans, etc. 1/2 teaspoon oil 1 dash salt 1 dash black pepper

- Preheat oven to 425F.
- After washing and drying vegetables, cut up the broccoli in equal-sized pieces. Green beans can remain whole.
- Toss the vegetables in oil just until they shine.
- Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet in a layer so they are not stacked on top of each other.
- Make sure to stir the vegetables as they cook and watch until they get tender and browned.
- When browned, remove from oven and sprinkle salt and pepper or any of your other favorite herbs and spices.
