1 whole chicken 3/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon paprika 2 tablespoons butter, or oil

- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Place chicken in roasting pan, or on a baking sheet with 4-5 balls of foil under it.
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, trying to dry the chicken as much as possible inside and out.
- Rub 2 tablespoons of butter or oil on dried chicken.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place the seasoned chicken on the center of the foil balls, or center of the roasting pan.
- Bake for 1 ½ to 2 hours or until thickest park of thigh reaches 165 degrees. If chicken gets to dark, cover pan loosely with a piece of foil.
