  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and dry potatoes. Cut into sticks, about 1 cm thick.
  2. In a large bowl, toss sticks with oil, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  3. Lay in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Check them and give them a shake. If the bottoms are getting dark you can flip them over. Return to oven for another 10-15 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn brown.
