1/4 cup butter, or margarine, softened 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup brown sugar 2 egg whites 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 small bananas, ripe and mashed 1 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup raisins, optional 1/3 cup chocolate chips, optional

- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Blend margarine and sugar together. Add peanut butter and brown sugar. Beat until mixture is thoroughly combined. Scrape sides of bowl.
- Add egg whites, vanilla and banana. Beat until combined.
- In a small bowl mix flour and baking soda together. Add flour mixture to banana mixture. Stir in rolled oats and optional ingredients, if using.
- Using a tablespoon to measure, drop dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
