  1. In a large bowl, combine butter, egg, milk and apple.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Stir flour mixture into apple mixture, just until combined.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  5. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
